She began her love affair with horses on her family's cattle farm in Lubbock, Texas then transplanted here in
81 where she started her show career with Barrel racing, reining and cutting, qualifying 3 times for NFR and ran WPRCA for
23 years. She also qualified for Quarter Horse Congress 6 times between 1986-1992. She has 4 State Barrel titles and numerous
saddle wins cow penning. reining and cutting. She held 4 judges cards and judged for 10 years, before becoming a mom.
She started training horses in 1986 and apprenticed with Diamond W ranch, Sandy Vaughn, Brunswick and Peacock
to name a few. She has qualified for Appaloosa World and won two world titles in Western Riding and Western Pleasure.
She is a AAA carded trainer and achieved the status of 1 of only 11 ARIA Level 3 instructors in the US. Her students
have won everything from Justin rookie of the year to Numerous state and world titles. They compete in everything from Showmanship,
Halter, Western, Barrels, Trail, English pleasure, Hunt seat, jumping, Gaited, mounted patrol, plus basic Horse!
Yes,
she can take a baby from the ground right to the show ring, reschool the sour horse and make him happy again, take spooky
"bob" and put him on the streets as a mounted patrol horse. This is but a short synopsis of her qualifications,
